Research Chemicals

What is happening with the research chemical industry, and what happens if something new is synthed and it could be an asset to humanity? Would they risk power over advancement? Why do we as a people accept this structure of barriers that our governments have become. It is as if we created our own nanny state. Freedom is not safe and should be locked in a cage for its own good. Why would freedom ever mean free in the eyes of the same individuals who run the structure of our country and uses the word as if they meant it. Why would anyone just accept such blatant lies and fraud?
